The band has just released their new single to announce their new album that will be released soon.
For this new album, the band had the idea of incorporating more atmosphere and classical instruments from death and black metal! The recording process has been innovative and challenging in songwriting, the lyrics encompass historical themes referencing the current socio-political context and social criticism. This album is intended to convey the message of attitude and questioning these dark years we are living in about extremism, polarization and the creation of minds within a social bubble. We had a great sound improvement with the help of our great producer Flavio Kebras and for now it's our heaviest work.
Rising Curse is a Brazilian Metal band created in 2012 by brothers Yuri França and Gustavo Dante in Mongaguá-SP. The biggest influences for the band's characteristic sound are Deathcore, Death Metal, a bit of classic Thrash Metal and Black Metal! In 2016 the self-titled album was released and some of the members moved to Portugal. After 5 years, the band was reformulated with new members Bernardo Nunes, Tomás Matos and Bruno Bontempo. In 2020 began the recordings of the second album "Years in The Darkness" scheduled for release in 2022 by DyMM Records.
